Hands have always fascinated me; beautiful, intricate, and notoriously difficult to draw. I spent a month completely immersed in studying hands, challenging myself to understand their form, movement, and expression. At first, it was frustrating, discouraging, and seemingly impossible.
Yet through the process, I discovered something even more important than technical skill: the power of faith and perseverance. Hands in Faith is the culmination of that journey. It’s a testament to the beauty of persistence, the magic that arises when we keep going even when the path is unclear, and the rewards of trusting ourselves to grow.
This painting reminds me that we don’t need to rush, and that sometimes the most meaningful outcomes come from patience, faith, and a willingness to continue learning.
