Once upon a time, I wandered through lonely lands and swam across oceans of despair, searching for a life where authenticity, love, and creativity could truly thrive. My heart led me to art and stories, and through them I discovered the healing power of creation;
a way to reconnect with the world I longed for.
In time, I realized that world had existed within me all along.
Today, I call myself A Traveler of Worlds.
I use art and creativity to find joy, healing, and connection in a world that often feels too fast and disconnected.
From this journey, Imovara was born: an emotional universe where every feeling is a world to explore through creativity. And, where all parts of you are welcome, loved, and invited to grow.
My name is Frederike, and I’m an artist living in the beautiful Norwegian countryside with my partner of ten years and our two little sausage dogs, Oop and BamBam.
During my creative phases, you’ll find me at my paint-splattered desk, brushes, colored pencils, and half-empty cups of coffee scattered across the surface, painting with colors that bring me hope.
After many years of struggling to find my worth, confidence, and love for life, I’ve learned to treasure the moments that bring calm and presence. When my creative batteries run low, and the world feels too heavy, I retreat into small joys. Those joys I find while hiding in a good book, dancing around the house to nostalgic 90s music, or finding comfort in my partner’s arms and the soft snuggles of my puppies until I drift to sleep.
Through the years of my own healing and artistic journey, I've learned that art and imagination can do more than simply express what we feel.
They can help us heal, and help us reconnect to the world and people in magnificent ways.
Imovara was born from that belief, from a quiet wish to help people reconnect to their inner worlds and remember that emotions are not things to be fixed, but landscapes to be explored.
Through this universe, I want to create a place where we move a little slower and savor the details of being alive. A place where creativity becomes both a refuge and a bridge. It connects us to ourselves, to each other, and to the beauty that still exists even in the midst of struggle.
My dream for Imovara is to grow into a gentle community of travelers. Each of us on our own healing journey, yet walking side by side. A place where we honor our humanness through art, storytelling, and reflection, and where our shared emotions remind us that we’re never truly alone.
My dream is to weave hope, creativity, and healing into one living universe. And I invite you to travel through it with me.
